continuing the blown out tones and loose jam workflows present in their previous release, HYPER SPRAY journey down a footwork-esque path for this 6 track collection with blistering results. pulling back somewhat from the pure noise blasts of "THE MINDFLAYER SESSIONS", "FAKE ASS WERKS" instead leans on pummeling bass hits and unrelenting rhythms to turn its high BPM inspirations into brutal but groovy sonics. equally capable of filling a floor and lowkey giving you a panic attack, it's a masterful extension of james' dedication to the unnerving side of dance music and zack's current evolution of their "plastic footwork" sound.
